For those that love sports, trying to find a way to watch them without breaking the bank can be hard. BT offers one of the most comprehensive packages around, but it can be kind of pricey.

Fortunately, there are ways to get the cost down:

The BT app

One of the best ways to access BT Sport for cheap is via the app, which on its own costs £25 per month. This gives you access to all their channels, with replays and highlights also available.

Discounts are also available for existing BT broadband or EE customers. If you already have BT internet services, then the app is available as an add-on, starting at just £15 per month.

All EE customers can get the BT sport app for £20 per month as a standard offer. Those with small business packages can also try before they buy, with three months free.

Plusnet

Plusnet customers get BT Sport lite as part of their standard TV package, which only gives you access to BT 1. If you want to upgrade to the real deal, it costs an extra £15.69 per month, or £18.31/month for BT Sport HD.
