What is TNT Sports?
TNT Sports is a digital streaming service which, as its name implies, is dedicated to sports broadcasting. It replaced BT Sport in 2023 following an agreement between BT and Warner Bros.
TNT Sports includes everything BT Sport used to offer and more, from major league football (Premier, UEFA Champions and Europa leagues) to championship rugby, Moto GP, cricket, UFC and WWE.
Unlike Sky Sports, TNT Sports is not affiliated with any particular broadband provider in the UK, so you have a range of options when it comes to choosing how to watch it. Read on to find out what the service includes, how much it costs and, if you decide it's right for you, how to take out a subscription.
What's on TNT Sports?
TNT Sports is a bundle of four channels (imaginatively called TNT Sports 1, 2, 3 and 4). Across these, you can watch major sports events including:
- Premier League football
- UEFA Champions League
- UEFA Europa League
- Premiership Rugby
- The Heineken Champions Cup
- MotoGP
- Major cricket tournaments
- UFC fights
- Boxing matches
- WWE
How to watch TNT Sports
TNT Sport isn't linked to one broadband or TV provider in particular, so it's accessible on different platforms.
It's possible to get TNT Sports as an add-on if you're a customer of different broadband providers, including Sky and Virgin Media.
Sky
You can choose TNT Sports as an add-on to whichever Sky TV package you choose (Essential or Ultimate) for £28 per month on a 31-day rolling basis.
Virgin Media
While TNT Sports isn't included in one of Virgin Media's ready-made TV bundles, you can add it on for a fixed monthly fee (currently £5 per month for the first three months of your membership).
BT/EE TV
Of course, you can purchase TNT Sports access through BT or EE TV (as BT owns EE, the two companies are connected). TNT Sports is included in several of EE TV's ready-made TV packages such as Sport and Big Sport.
How much does TNT Sports cost?
Unfortunately, there is no clear cut answer to this as the cost of TNT Sports depends which platform you subscribe to it through.
As of October 2025, you can purchase the following EE TV packages which include TNT Sports:
- EE TV Sport package, £18 per month
- EE TV Big Sport, £48 per month
- EE TV Full Works, £40 per month
Currently, you can also add TNT Sports to your Virgin Media TV package for just £5 per month for three months (the price goes up to £25 per month thereafter).
