About Giffgaff broadband
Well known as a successful disruptor in the mobile industry, in September 2025, Giffgaff launched its broadband offering, running on Virgin Media O2’s full fibre network.
The provider has just three full fibre connections on offer, which can be taken out on a one- or 24-month contract. giffgaff has outstanding introductory offers, whereby you can get broadband for just a fiver per month for six months.

Giffgaff broadband packages
Giffgaff offers a choice of three broadband speeds:

Customers can then choose between one or 24-month contract lengths, with more advantageous prices and no mid-contract cost increases when you sign up for two years.
Prices for Giffgaff broadband are reasonable, ranging between £25 and £35 per month depending on the speed and contract length.
We love that similarly to its mobile deals, Giffgaff offers the option to switch between its broadband speeds mid-contract, allowing you to flex your plan as your needs and budget evolve. For instance, should you find you need a boost for a few months, you can upgrade to the provider’s higher speeds for as long as you need, even if you are on a fixed 24-month contract.
Currently, Giffgaff does not offer the option to combine broadband with TV or a phone deal, though the latter may be introduced at a later date.

What speeds does Giffgaff broadband offer?
Giffgaff only offers full fibre broadband, with speeds ranging from 200Mbps to 900Mbps. Its top speed is lower than other broadband providers such as Community Fibre, Sky, EE, Virgin or Vodafone, but it matches TalkTalk, BT or Hyperoptic.
The provider does not offer ADSL or part-fibre (FTTC) internet connections. These older types of broadband are slower and rely on the same copper cable networks as landlines; they are gradually being phased out in favour of full fibre broadband.
