How much is a NOW TV Sky Cinema pass?

New members get a 7 day free trial of NOW TV’s Sky Cinema pass so you can dip your toe in before you take the plunge. Then it’s a flat fee of just £11.99 a month, which you can cancel at any time.

When will my payment for NOW TV Sky Cinema Pass be taken?

The first payment will be taken on the day that you purchase your Sky Cinema Pass. Subsequent payments will be taken on the same day each month thereafter.

Sometimes, if you buy a different Pass at the same time, your payment will be taken 24-48 hours later. In this case, any extra days of Sky Cinema Pass that you receive will be free.

If you do have any of the other NOW TV Passes, your bank statement will show Sky Cinema Pass as a separate payment.

BT customers will have the cost of the Sky Cinema Pass bolt-on added to their monthly bill from BT. You can log in to My BT and look under ‘Billing & Usage’ to see what you’ll be charged.

Can I watch movies in full HD with NOW TV Sky Cinema Pass?

You can watch all live TV channels and most on-demand movies in full 1080p HD if you’ve got NOW TV Boost. You’ll also benefit from enhanced Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.

To start a free trial of NOW TV Boost just head to ‘Passes & vouchers’ under ‘My Account’. Once your trial is over it will roll on for just £3 a month.

Note: it could take up to 4 hours for your NOW TV Boost add-on to show up on the NOW TV website. You can get around this by signing out of the Now TV app and signing back in again.

Can I download movies to watch offline with NOW TV Sky Cinema Pass?

Selected movies are available for download on your Android or Apple tablet or smartphone (Disney and 20th Century Fox movies are excluded).

You can download each movie twice and they will be available on your device for 30 days. Once you start watching a film you have 48 hours in which you can watch it an unlimited number of times.

You may need to update your NOW TV app to the latest version to access downloadable movies on your device.

How to get a NOW TV Cinema Pass as a BT customer

If you are a BT customer and don’t have Sky Cinema Pass as part of your current TV package, then you can add it as a bolt-on. Go to ‘Passes & vouchers’ and select ‘Buy Pass’ (or ‘Start free trial’ if you’d like to give it a go) and the fee will be added to your monthly bill from BT.
