Internet providers rarely offer explicit student discounts, however many do regularly generic rewards in the form of bill credit, cashback, or prepaid rewards cards. These might not strictly be aimed at students, they're helpful for those on a tight student budget.
Some providers offer dedicated student broadband deals, but rather than being marked out by a discounted price, they're instead targeted at students because their contract lengths match up with university terms.
One word of advice for your broadband hunt is to not beeline simply for discounts. Whilst saving money is great, you should also look at bundles, perks and other offers.
If you want to save money on all of your bills, you could look to bundle a TV package with your broadband deal. Sky, Virgin Media and BT all offer TV and broadband packages, often with mobile plans included too. Streamlining your contracts can help keep costs down.
University campuses often offer free broadband access for students, but this is unlikely to be a sustainable solution given the need to get online when you're at home.
