If you’ve just moved home, the easiest way to find out who your supplier is to ask the landlord, estate agent, or the previous tenants of the property.

The previous tenants should have told the gas or electricity supplier that they were scheduled to move, meaning that the suppliers should send you a letter addressed to ‘The Occupier’. This letter should provide you with all the details about the supplier that you will require.
