Vodafone is offering mobile customers a month of unlimited data, but you’ll have to hurry to claim it.
The offer is part of Vodafone’s festive gifting season, which will also include giveaways for free cinema tickets and digital gift cards.
From Thursday 2 December, Vodafone customers can redeem the 30 days of unlimited data through their My Vodafone App. Simply click on the ‘VeryMe Rewards’ section and claim the offer if it’s still available.
The offer is available to pay-monthly customers who aren’t already signed up for unlimited data. There are 250,000 free data offers, available first come first serve. That means around 1.5% of Vodafone’s mobile subscribers will benefit.
Vodafone says the free data will help customers stay connected during the holiday period.
This isn’t the first time Vodafone has offered the gift of unlimited data. In March 2020, as the country entered its first coronavirus lockdown, it offered 30 days of free unlimited data to 500,000 customers.
Miss out on the free data or don’t need it? Vodafone has also detailed the other “offers and treats” it will be rolling out weekly throughout December.
These include two Vue Cinema Tickets; a free gift from The Body Shop worth up to £5; a free Cadbury Winter Orange Bar from WHSmith; and A free movie rental from CHILI. Customers will also have the chance to play an ‘Instant Win’ game for a small drink or muffin from Costa or a lucky dip to win a £5 Argos gift card, a £10 Amazon Digital Gift Card or other perks. Customers may be charged delivery fees for some of these offers.
Don’t want the gifts for yourself? A certain number of the offers will be giftable, meaning you can pass them on to a family member or friend, regardless of which mobile network they are on.
Vodafone launched its VeryMe Rewards programme in November 2018 to offer subscribers perks personalised to them through machine learning. To date, more than 48 million rewards have been claimed.
