About SSE

When Southern Electric and Scottish Hydro joined forces in 1998, it resulted in the formation of a company that would soon become one of the biggest energy suppliers in the UK. In January 2020, SSE was bought over by OVO Energy in order to provide energy to millions of consumers, harnessing technological solutions that allowed them to reduce their carbon footprint and reduce energy costs.
