Can I divert calls from one mobile to another?

Sometimes you don’t want to or can’t answer calls on your device. There may be a practical reason why not, or you might just not feel like it. If ignoring them isn’t an option, then call forwarding is the answer. It allows you to divert calls coming in to you to any other mobile and fortunately is very easy to do.

The process is slightly different depending on whether you have an iPhone or Android device, although both are fairly straightforward:

Diverting calls from an Android smartphone:

  1. Select the phone icon
  2. Click the three dots on the top right of your screen
  3. Choose settings
  4. Open calls or supplementary services
  5. Tap call forwarding
  6. You would now be presented with four options - always forward, when busy, when unanswered, and when unreachable
  7. Choose the one you want and enter the forwarding number
  8. Press update (may appear as enable or ok)

Diverting calls from an iOS device:

  1. Go onto settings
  2. Select call forwarding and select the slider to on
  3. Click on forward to and choose the number you want calls to be forwarded to
