When is Black Friday 2023?
The annual shopping bonanza Black Friday falls on 24 November this year, with the digital Cyber Monday following on 27 November.
Imported from the US, these feasts of consumerism have become some of Britain’s biggest shopping days, with retailers luring gift-givers and savvy savers to stores and websites with slashed prices, special offers, and incentives.
Broadband providers have got in on the festivities, making Black Friday and its cyber twin the best days of the year to switch internet providers. Sign up for a broadband contract during the sales and you’ll lock in lower bills for the next year and maybe net some bonuses like cashback, gift cards and freebies.
What Black Friday deals are NOW offering in 2023?
Streaming giant NOW has recently unveiled its 2023 Black Friday deals, and its offering even steeper discounts on its fibre packages than it did last year.
This year, you can get both the Fab Fibre (36Mbps) and Super Fibre (63Mbps) for its ‘lowest ever price’ of just £23 per month each on a 12-month contract.

Previous steals included a nine-month Sky Sports subscription for £120 off and two months of the Entertainment streaming pass for the price of one. You should also look out for any further discounts on NOW TV packages this year.
Does NOW offer any extras or free gifts?
Some broadband providers sweeten the deal by offering gift cards, freebies other incentives to new joiners on Black Friday. NOW isn’t usually among them, but its prices on faster fibre broadband plans are a reward in and of themselves.
Does NOW charge any set-up costs?
NOW doesn’t charge an activation fee but you do have to pay £5 to have a router delivered. Even customers who sign up during a Black Friday promotion usually must pay that fee.
